Checking out Fish and Butterflies in Monterey

For Thanksgiving Weekend, we went to Monterey. First stop was the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Here is Naina finding Nemo.  At this age, we find that Naina is more excited about little fish than big elusive zoo animals.

Check out the seahorse - amazing camoflouge, eh?

We went on the most exhilarating bike ride of our lives - Monterey Coastline - a full 4 miles! This was our first real bike ride with Naina. Better plan some more trips before she outgrows this biker baby contraption!

We took a little break to chase the seagulls.

We also hunted for Monarch Butterflies. Did you know that Pacific Grove (next to Monterey) is nicknamed "Buttefly Town"?  Each October, 25,000 butterflies migrate here from Canada. Here is one of them hanging out at the Monarch Grove Sanctuary.

Monterey is a lovely place to wander. Lots of artsy little places like this art studio that showcased glass pumpkins. Till we visit again....
