In June we made an incredible trip back to Cornell for Haruka's 20th Reunion. Murali flew in from California and rented an SUV so that all of us could visit Ithaca, including Ojiichan, Obaachan and Naina! Thanks to Facebook, we were able to reconnect with quite a few APO friends: Chet Scoville, Alison Schmied, Amy Howansky, Jackie Kasmir, and David Cohen, to name a few. We remarked how enormous the campus was-- it took forever to walk from one end to another. Our long weekend included hanging out in Downtown Ithaca and Collegetown; visiting the Treman State Park, the Fuertes Observatory and the Cornell Plantations (thanks Amy for your tour!) and a thrilling zipline across Beebe Lake! On our way back, we stopped by at the Corning Glass Museum. Too bad Tamao wasn't there!
