Sorry that this post is out of order, but I forgot to write about our a quickie trip to the Picasso exhibit at the MET during one of my last days in New York. At 14 months Naina was still not walking, but she was no longer interested in staying in the stroller...she wanted us to hold her hands and arms up as she explored the museum rooms. To our delight and surprise, she enthusiastically showed interest in various paintings by identifying objects using baby sign language: hat, bread, frog (well, actually, that was the skull of some desert animal, but yeah, I guess it looks a bit like a frog...)
