March 3rd is Girls' Day, or Hina-Matsuri (Japanese doll festival.) in Japan. On this day, Hina dolls are traditionally displayed in the house and families pray for their girls' health and happiness. We were so delighted to receive a set of hina dolls as a gift from Haruka's cousin Keiko-san to help celebrate Nana-chan's very first Girls' Day! In this photo, we realized that she is beginning to look more like a little girl.
